1. Who we are

Regulatory Radar is provided by Be Aspect Pty Ltd (ABN 22 628 096 140) (“we”, “us”, “our”). “Regulatory Radar” is our trading name for the service described on this website. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. What the service does

Regulatory Radar tracks official Australian regulatory changes, determines which are likely to apply to your organisation, and presents plain-English summaries, effective dates, evidence and recommended next steps. It is an information and decision-support service.

Regulatory Radar does not provide legal, compliance, financial or professional advice, and does not generate or maintain your compliance documents, policies or registers. Our judgements and recommendations are tools to help you decide. They do not replace your own review or professional advice. You remain responsible for your organisation’s compliance.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account and organisation information and keep it up to date, including the profile details we use to match regulatory changes to your organisation. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must be authorised to act for the organisation you register.

4. Subscriptions, trials and billing

Each regulatory area is a separate subscription. Paid areas are billed monthly in advance, inclusive of GST, at the price shown at signup. Some areas are offered as a Founding Release, included with your account at no charge while we complete their live coverage.

A paid subscription may include a free trial. A payment method is required to start a trial, but no charge is made during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins automatically and is billed monthly thereafter. You can cancel at any time from the in-app billing area; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Full billing terms are set out in our Subscription Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to access it without authorisation, interfering with its operation or security, scraping or reselling its content, or using it to breach any law. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms.

6. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the service and its content, other than the underlying official regulatory materials, which remain the property of their respective authorities. You may use the service and its outputs for your own organisation’s internal purposes. Links to official sources are provided for your convenience.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or complete for every jurisdiction or regulatory area. Coverage is described honestly on our website and expands over time.

8. Consumer guarantees and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of re-supply, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the service.

9. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies and analytics in our Cookie Policy.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be notified through the service or by email, and the “last updated” date above will change. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
