Be Aspect Pty Ltd (ABN 22 628 096 140), trading as Regulatory Radar, is committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, and the organisation you represent.
• Organisation profile: the details you provide about your organisation so we can determine which regulatory changes apply to you (for example, your sector, service types and jurisdictions).
• Billing information: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive confirmation of your subscription and limited billing metadata; we do not store your full card details.
• Usage and device data: basic technical logs, and, only if you consent, privacy-preserving analytics about how the service is used (see our Cookie Policy).

How we use it

We use personal information to provide and operate the service, including matching regulatory changes to your organisation, delivering notifications and reports, managing your subscription and support, keeping the service secure, and meeting our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your regulatory profile answers for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run Regulatory Radar, for example our payment processor (Stripe), our email delivery provider, our hosting provider, and, subject to your consent, our analytics provider (Google, via Google Analytics). These providers act on our instructions. Some may store or process data outside Australia; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including encryption in transit and access controls. We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations, and then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

You can access or correct your personal information from within the app or by contacting us. You can change your analytics consent at any time, and you can close your account. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the service or by email, and the “last updated” date above will change.
